Smartwatches

Start with Redmi for accessible daily tracking and calls, Amazfit for the broadest training, mapping and recovery tools, and Mibro for a choice between slim lifestyle watches and rugged GS models. Screen shape, wrist size and the companion app can be as important as the headline fitness features.

Choose a model that lists built-in GPS or GNSS. Redmi Watch 6 and Watch 5 Lite, Amazfit Bip 6, Balance and T-Rex 3, plus GPS-equipped Mibro GS models, can record a route independently. Watches using connected GPS need the paired phone during the activity.

No. Bluetooth calling uses the watch microphone and speaker while the paired phone handles the mobile connection. The watch must remain within Bluetooth range. This is different from an LTE watch with its own SIM or eSIM service.

Redmi watches use Mi Fitness, Amazfit watches use Zepp and Mibro watches use Mibro Fit. The app handles pairing, updates, watch faces and deeper activity data. Supported phone versions and some features differ between Android and iPhone.

Outdoor models place more emphasis on satellite accuracy, route tools, physical controls, stronger water protection and battery life while GPS is active. Amazfit T-Rex 3 and Mibro GS Explorer models fit this role more closely than slim everyday calling watches.
